Since 2008, Dr.-Ing. Claudia Kirsten is responsible for the research and development of alternative, high-quality solid biofuels in the working group Innovative Solid Biofuels. She has been involved in numerous national and international projects focussing particularly on optimising the product properties and the production process of densified biogenic residues and wastes. Accordingly, she is the scientific contact person for the fuel conditioning lab at DBFZ.
