Online events
For events that take place online or in a hybrid format, we use the software Zoom X. To help you successfully participate in our event, we have compiled answers to the most important questions.
How do I join the online event?
The event takes place via the Zoom X web conferencing system. Registration is mandatory. After registering, you will receive your personal login details, which may only be used by you. Once logged in, you will enter a waiting room, from which the DBFZ event management team will admit you. If you wish to join via smartphone or tablet, please install the free Zoom app beforehand. A Zoom account is not required.
Do I need to register in advance?
Yes, registration is required to participate. The registration form can be found on the respective event webpage. Please note that the access data sent to you are personal and must not be shared with third parties.
What technical requirements are necessary?
You will need an internet-enabled device (PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone) and a stable internet connection. You can join either via your browser or the installed app. To follow the presentations, you will need a functional audio output (speakers or headphones). A webcam and microphone are not required.
Camera and microphone
To ensure stable transmission, cameras and microphones of participants are automatically disabled for the entire event. Only the presenters use these functions.
Asking questions
During the event, the DBFZ team moderates a live chat. Depending on the program, your questions will either be answered directly in the chat or passed on to the speakers by the moderator.
Data protection and recordings
Please note: Online events may be recorded. If this is the case, you will be informed upon entry.

Certificate of participation
If you require a certificate of participation, please indicate this during registration or contact our event team after the event.

We kindly ask all participants to maintain a respectful and constructive tone in the chat.
Note for hybrid events
If you are participating online in a hybrid event, you will be actively involved through interaction options (e.g., polls, chat, Q&A).
