Field of work
Dr. Bettina Stolze received her doctorate in the field of heterogeneous catalysis from the University of Leipzig. Since 2015, she has been researching the activity and stability of catalysts for pollutant reduction after thermo-chemical conversion of biogenic fuels in the research focus area "Catalytic Emission Control". Taking into account the Sustainable Development Goals, new catalysts are synthesized, characterized with methods of physisorption and chemisorption and catalytically tested both in model gas and real exhaust gas.
Keywords
catalytic emission reduction, catalyst synthesis, solids characterization, physisorption, chemisorption
