SEcuring doMestic PRoduction of cost-Effective BIOmethane (SEMPRE-BIO)

The objective of SEMPRE-BIO is to demonstrate novel and cost-effective biomethane production solutions that are considered essential to achieve the European Green Deal, 2030 climate and energy targets, and net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, as well as to increase market uptake of biomethane technologies. To this end, SEMPRE-BIO will implement three European Biomethane Innovation Ecosystems (EBIEs) located in Baix Llobregat (ES), Bourges (FR) and Adinkerke (BE), representative of different baseline situations of biomethane production in Europe.
