Development and demonstration of a fuel-flexible SCR retrofit solution for residual fuel firing systems

The aim of the planned work is to develop and demonstrate an SCR retrofit solution for boiler systems operated with biogenic residual and waste materials in the small and medium power range (< 1 MWth). The innovative high-frequency technology will be used to continuously measure the NH3 loading status of the SCR catalytic converter and automatically adjust the amount of reducing agent to the actual fuel and load-dependent requirement.
