Methods

SVG mit img laden
  • Preliminary tests both as batch and as continuous laboratory-scale tests to narrow down optimal process parameters
  • Specific preliminary tests for the process steps in preparation for the commissioning of the pilot plant
SVG mit img laden
  • Planning, manufacturing and commissioning of the pilot plant to demonstrate the process chain
SVG mit img laden
  • Evaluation of the resource potential for agricultural by-products (cereal straw and cattle slurry) as well as urban residues and by-products (bio waste and green waste) in Germany as well as the feasibility of mobilization in the example region of Leipzig/Halle/Dessau
  • Accompanying analyses of the general conditions for renewable methane as a fuel in transport, especially with regard to market and location aspects

Results

Ergebnisse Pilot-SBG
  • Results of the resource potentials are included in the dashboards of the respective substrates: To the dashboards
  • Interim results published during the project or presented for discussion are available at publications and events

Federal interest

Ergebnisse Pilot-SBG
  • Closed-loop recycling management: use of available biogenic residual and waste materials (agricultural/urban)
  • National Hydrogen Strategy: Integration of green hydrogen to increase methane output
  • Climate Protection Plan/Climate Change Act: Advanced, renewable fuels with high GHG avoidance
