13:00 | Session „The future of biomethane - exploring the possibilities“ Moderation: Dr. Peter Kornatz | DBFZ Biomethane is a flexible raw material with a wide range of potential uses. The focus is often on its obvious energy use, but methane is also used for processes that require carbon. The future role of biomethane as an energy source and carbon carrier in a circular defossilized economy therefore needs to be examined more closely. At the same time, synthetic biomethane can support the ramp-up of the hydrogen economy through the use of green hydrogen in methanation processes to increase plant efficiency. |
