Hanffaser Uckermark eG

The Hanffaser Uckermark cooperative has been offering sustainable solutions for energyrelated renovation for over 20 years. The sustainability concept already begins with the cultivation of industrial hemp, on almost 600 ha of agricultural land in the immediate vicinity. The bast fibre processing plant specially designed for HFU processes up to 5000 t of hemp annually.

Although Hanffaser Uckermark has established a strong starting position in the field of natural building materials, an ever-present competitive and innovative pressure can be felt. As part of its ongoing R&D work, innovative products, novel processing technologies as well as individual solutions for natural fibres are continuously developed in close cooperation with partners from industry and science and transferred into practice.
