Welcome

In recent years, the hemp industry has developed into a strongly growing economic sector due to new political framework conditions and innovative product fields. In view of an increasing regenerative energy supply as well as scarce resources and the critical discussion about the use of renewable raw materials for energy production, the development of biogenic residual and waste materials for the production of efficient, storable, flexible and decentralized bioenergy sources is becoming increasingly important. In the project HempNRG, energetic utilization options of residual materials from hemp processing are to be investigated for exemplary integration into the energy concept of a hemp fiber factory.
