Green Packaging – How environmentally friendly are bioplastics?

Kathleen Meisel studied Geography at Martin Luther University and completed her PhD in Environmental Assessment within the Department of Spatial and Environmental Planning. Since 2010, she has been working as a research associate at the DBFZ in the Applied Sustainability Assessment group. Her main focus is on conducting life cycle analyses and sustainability assessments, as well as analysing certification requirements for various energetic and material biomass utilisation pathways. She specialises in the ecological evaluation of biorefinery systems.
