Workshop “Hands-On Advice for Writing Horizon Europe Proposals”

The DBFZ and ZEUSS are hosting the Workshop “Hands-On Advice for Writing Horizon Europe Proposals” with and at the DBFZ Deutsches Biomasseforschungszentrum in Leipzig.
EU Funding Advisors from ZEUSS will provide an hands-on experience as well as tips and tricks on how to write a competitive proposal for the 9th research and innovation funding program of the European Union HORIZON EUROPE, with a special focus on calls for collaborative research and innovation actions within the Pillar II funding schemes (e.g. Cluster 5 “Climate, Energy, and Mobility” or Cluster 6 “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, and Agriculture”).
Target group of the workshop are researchers that have already made first experiences in EU-funded projects, e.g. as a team member during the implementation phase, or those who already participated in the proposal writing phase and want to boost their skills. Main parts of the workshop will focus on how to write the so-called “Excellence”, “Impact” and “Implementation” section of the proposal.
The event will be held in English and exclusively On-Site. Registration is necessary and free of charge. The workshop is also open for interested scientists from other publicly funded research institutes and universities in Saxony (preferably from the Leipzig region).
