Partners

The present project deals with electricity production using hybrid renewable sources. It is intended to enhance the knowledge on CSP hybridization with biomass in the framework of research cooperation between EU and MPC countries, share REELCOOP experience with new partners and transfer this REELCOOP experience to other MPC countries, thus establishing a cooperation network amongst partner countries, fostering the participation of Mediterranean partner countries in EU programs. At project completion, it will be agreed who may manufacture, market and commercialize the hybrid system and components in accordance with the project steering committee. The possibilities of negotiating license agreements and raising joint patents to protect relevant intellectual property will be analyzed.

The consortium includes both research institutions and SME companies from EU and MPC. Six researchinstitutions are from EU countries (DLR, DBFZ, LGCIE, University of Patras, CIEMAT, INEGI), while three (ENIT, CDER, German-Jordanian University) belong to MPC countries. A total of two companies (SMEs),from EU/MPC countries, will be consortium partners (COGEBIO and AES). Project effort and R&D responsibilities will be shared between EU and MPC partners.
