DBFZ organizes the biannual HTP Expert Forum in Leipzig, Germany and addresses representatives from research & development, industry, and politics. Further information can be found here.
HTC-Symposium
With a scientific focus specifically on the topic of hydrothermal carbonization (HTC), an international HTC-Symposium usually takes place every two years. Most recently, the events took place in London, UK in 2017 and in Berlin, Germany in 2019. Also in 2021, preparations for the third edition are already in full swing. However, due to the global coronavirus pandemic it will take place no earlier than 2022. Further information on the upcoming event can be found here.
