We can be reached!

Dear colleagues, friends, project partners and visitors,

The current corona crisis has also presented us as a research centre with a number of challenges. Events will be offered virtually, possibilities for working from the home office have been created, hygiene and distance regulations ensure a regular course of business as well as safe, collaborative work at the DBFZ.

The health of our employees and also your health is our top priority. Therefore we have decided not to conduct any guided tours for visitors until further notice. Project meetings are possible in our large seminar room with single tables and a distance of up to 20 participants.

The DBFZ does not require masks on the premises. Due to the cramped working conditions, however, the technical area of the "Thermo-chemical Conversion" department (building 4) requires employees and visitors to wear masks.

To date, we are pleased to say that we have had and still have no acute case of illness or suspicion at the DBFZ. It is therefore guaranteed that all experiments and work in the DBFZ laboratories will continue to be carried out in accordance with the necessary safety precautions.

Should the current situation change significantly, we will inform you here about further developments.

Please take care of yourself and your colleagues and stay healthy!

Michael Nelles & Daniel Mayer

General Management of the DBFZ
